GoldNepal is an online jewellery marketplace, seller directory, design reference, rate, calculator, and community hub for Nepal-focused jewellery discovery. The website helps visitors compare information, view seller or store profiles, and send inquiries to jewellery businesses. GoldNepal is a lead-generation and information platform. GoldNepal is not the seller of listed jewellery, does not operate checkout for third-party transactions, does not act as an escrow service, and is not responsible for transactions completed directly between buyers and sellers.

4. Public Store and Jewellery Reference Data

To start the marketplace and directory, GoldNepal may manually research publicly available business pages, public websites, public social profiles, catalog pages, store descriptions, contact details, product references, images, titles, prices, and URLs, or may receive those details from sellers or their representatives. We use this information to create searchable references, help buyers find relevant jewellery stores, and route inquiries to the respective source site or seller contact channel.

Where we reference a third-party store, brand, website, social profile, product, design, or public listing, ownership remains with the respective owner. GoldNepal does not claim ownership of third-party trademarks, business names, logos, product designs, catalog images, descriptions, or store content. References are used for identification, comparison, discovery, and lead routing. Store owners can request correction, attribution changes, image replacement, link updates, or removal by contacting GoldNepal.

5. How We Use Information

We use information to operate the website, publish and maintain seller profiles, show jewellery listings, process account and seller signup, send or route inquiries, provide support, improve search and filters, prevent spam or misuse, keep security logs, analyze performance, improve SEO and content relevance, personalize rate and currency tools, and comply with legal or platform requirements.

6. Inquiry Sharing With Sellers

When you click a seller website, email, phone, WhatsApp, Viber, social link, or inquiry button, you may be transferred to the seller's own site or communication channel. If you submit an inquiry through GoldNepal, we may share the details needed for that inquiry with the relevant seller, store, channel partner, or site administrator so they can respond. The seller may process your information under its own policy once you contact them directly.

7. Cookies, Analytics, and Social Tools

GoldNepal may use cookies, local storage, analytics tags, log files, advertising pixels, and social platform tools to keep the site functional, measure traffic, understand content performance, prevent misuse, and support integrations such as social login, Meta/Facebook developer tools, sharing widgets, or remarketing features. 8. Social Login and Platform Data

For social login or Meta/Facebook platform data, include the email address or platform account identifier used to sign in. 10. Listing Correction and Copyright Requests

If you are a business owner, rights holder, seller, or authorized representative and believe a GoldNepal listing uses inaccurate information, outdated contact details, unsupported references, copyrighted material, trademarked material, or content you do not want displayed, contact us with the listing URL, proof of authority, the requested correction or removal, and replacement material if applicable. GoldNepal may edit, attribute, replace, disable, or remove the listing after review.

11. How We Share Information

We may share information with sellers or store owners for inquiry response, SmartWebly/GoldNepal administrators for operations, hosting and infrastructure providers, analytics and security providers, email or notification providers, payment or subscription providers if enabled, professional advisers, law enforcement or regulators when legally required, and successors if the business is reorganized or transferred.

We do not sell personal information as a data brokerage product. We may show public business profile information on GoldNepal and seller pages because directory visibility is part of the platform.

12. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including account operation, inquiry follow-up, seller directory management, legal compliance, security, backups, dispute handling, and business records. Public listing references may remain visible until updated, removed, expired, or disabled by GoldNepal.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, alteration, and disclosure. No website, email, social message, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Users and sellers should also protect their own accounts, devices, and communication channels.

14. International Visitors

GoldNepal serves Nepal and Nepali diaspora visitors in countries such as the United States, Australia, India, the United Kingdom, Canada, Gulf countries, and other regions. Information may be processed in Nepal or other countries where hosting, analytics, support, or service providers operate. By using the website, you understand that information may be transferred and processed outside your country of residence.
